Luxury Dinner Cruise in New York with Bateaux New York

So excited to share with you one of the most luxurious experiences I got to have in New York: Romantic dinner cruise overlooking New York’s skyline courtesy of Bateaux New York.

From the impeccable 5-star service and the gourmet food to the breathtaking views of Manhattan and the entertainment- The dinner cruise was an incredible and romantic experience.

Me and my fiancé had a unique experience enjoying a delicious dinner in a cruise with a romantic atmosphere. All of that while overlooking New York City’s skyline. The ship has an inner and as well as an outer deck to see the skyline. In addition, the cruise provides live music and entertainment.

ROUTE & LANDMARKS

It was great to dine while overlooking the breathtaking views of New York skyline and the most famous landmarks. The ship started its journey at Chelsea Piers, where passengers board. Chelsea Piers is located at the famous Meatpacking district of Manhattan and is easily accessible. Right from when the first course is served the Empire State building and the World Trade Centre can been seen.

The cruise then continued to Brooklyn Bridge which could be seen from underneath- a unique angle. More sites that are seen from the boat are the iconic Manhattan bridge and Williamsburg bridge. By the time we got to the dessert we were able to enjoy an incredible up-close look of the Statue of Liberty.

New York City skyline is so beautiful, especially at night time. It was amazing to watch it during the sunset and at night from the river.

THE MENU

Bateaux New York’s menu was diverse and able to cater for everyone’s needs. We started off with drinking delicious cocktails on the outer deck. To begin with, I was served with tomato and mozzarella salad. We then had to pick the first course; I went for the beetroot and goat cheese salad, while my fiancé Josh chose the duck pastrami. For the main course, I enjoyed the vegetarian option: the Greek zucchini fritters. Whereas Josh had a delicious maple and mustard chicken breast. For dessert we both shared the Bateaux Signature Warm Butter Cake, as well as New York Style Cheesecake. We were told by the waitress that both of these desserts were the most popular, and we really understood why, it was incredibly delicious.

THE ENTERTAINMENT

There were various performances from artists performing live music and all-time hits. It contributed greatly to the romantic atmosphere and everyone seemed to enjoy.

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE

We had an excellent service from our waitress who made us feel so welcome and provided us with recommendations regarding the drinks and food. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the views.

To conclude, the cruise was an unforgettable experience that exceeded both of our expectations. From the personable service from our waitress, Julie, to the consistently good entertainment and amazing food and drinks- it was really the perfect way to experience NewYork and end our trip. I’d recommend Bateaux New York’s dinner cruise as a MUST-DO while in New York. Especially, for young couples who are interested to experience the city in a different way but yet romantic.
