Dubai has its fair share of luxury and five star hotels, however, I argue that one of the best hotels in Dubai is undoubtedly the One&Only Royal Mirage.
The hotel has so much to offer for guests- from its luxurious white sand private beach to its wonderful amenities, such as a variety of restaurants and two pools on-site.
O&O is a resort like no other. They take attention to details to the new level, and to me, this is the definition of true luxury.
ARABIAN COURT & THE PALACE
Guests have a choice of staying in two separate buildings, the Arabian court or the Palace. We happened to stay at the Arabian Court but we also spent a lot of time at the Palace enjoying the pool and the restaurants on offer.
Our room was spacious and clean and we had a private courtyard. I also loved the Penhaligan amenities, which gave me a bit of a taste of home away from home.
DINNING
Asian, Moroccan, Indian or American? You name it! O&O has a huge variety of restaurants, bars and lounges on offer, 16 in total. With such a choice, you are guaranteed to have your favourite cuisine on-site.
Eauzone is one of the restaurants that we have diner at for dinner and lunch. It features modern Asian dinning with sophisticated twice on the usual Asian dishes. The restaurant is floating on the water making it the perfect romantic setting.
Every evening after dinner we spent our time at one of the two Arabian courtyards sharing a shisha and Moroccan tea and watching an authentic Arabian show.
Nina, the hotel’s Indian restaurant did not disappoint us. The cozy atmosphere, superb service, and the unique twist on Indian food – have all made it a night to remember.
EXPERIENCES
The hotel’s private beach is particularly beautiful featuring breathtaking views and luxurious sun beds. Guests can also sit at the beach lounge and enjoy cocktails during sunset.
Drift Beach Club was on my bucket list for ages, so it was convenient that it is located right at the hotel. We chose to have our breakfast there daily since they’re serving fresh produce and health breakfast choices.
Lounging poolside is one of my favourite holiday pass times. Therefore, the comfortable sun beds at the pool and the complimentary water has made our poolside time much more convenient.
CONCLUSION
With such a hefty price tag you should expect the most luxurious experience. One&Only has delivered on that expectation, providing excellent hospitality that should be role modelled by other luxurious hotels. Every corner one’s eyes wondered was as beautiful as it can get. The architecture and interior design, the friendly and helpful staff, and the attention to details- it all made it an incredible luxurious experience.
